The Senior CNC Programmer (Multi-Axis Mill and Lathe) role is onsite in Solon, OH. Pay is $80,000–$95,000 per year. The role supports Jerpbak-Bayless Machining’s precision machining job shop, which produces complex, tight-tolerance components. The programmer owns machining programs and processes from print review through prove-out and production release. The role contributes to reliable prototype and low-volume production by developing multi-axis toolpaths, optimizing programs on the shop floor, and supporting machinists and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Program complex parts using Mastercam and Smartcam for CNC mills and lathes
• work from SolidWorks models and customer prints
• develop 4-axis, 5-axis, and mill-turn toolpaths
• create processes for prototype and low-volume production
• select tooling, workholding, and cutting strategies
• perform prove-outs and optimize programs
• troubleshoot machining, tooling, and program issues
• support setup machinists with setup sheets and tooling documentation
• mentor machinists when needed
• collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.
