The Cook / Dietary Aide role is onsite at Manderley Health Center in Osgood, IN. Pay is $15 per hour. The role supports meal preparation and resident meal service at a skilled nursing facility. The employee prepares meals according to menus and diet orders, follows recipes and portion procedures, and helps serve meals and maintain kitchen and dining-area sanitation. The combined duties support timely, appropriate meal service for residents.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and diet orders
• follow recipes and portion-control procedures
• operate kitchen equipment safely
• maintain clean and sanitary work areas and equipment
• coordinate meal production and serving times
• assist with meal service and tray delivery
• plate and serve meals
• support food preparation and special requests
• return dishes to the dishwashing area.

Why this role

Full-time schedule is 6 a.m.–7 p.m., three days a week, including every other weekend. Culinary school is a plus but not required.
