Training Specialist

The Training Specialist is a hybrid position based in the Cleveland/Copley, OH area, with work in an office and from home and travel to Redwood sites. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Redwood Living’s property operations and its goal of delivering strong resident experiences. The specialist develops and facilitates operational training for site-level teams, including new-hire instruction on company policies, procedures, sales, and YARDI software. The role also identifies learning needs, creates training materials and eLearning, and supports ongoing development programs to strengthen operational knowledge and skills.

What you'll do

• Create training and development materials related to property management policies and sales
• facilitate virtual and in-person training for site-level teams
• oversee monthly New Hire Training
• ensure new hires learn Redwood policies, procedures, sales, and YARDI software
• design assessments and role-play scenarios
• collaborate with departments and subject matter experts to create and update materials
• develop eLearning courses in Redwood University/Yardi Aspire
• identify knowledge and skill gaps
• update neighborhood team forms
• facilitate and monitor assigned training programs
• manage concurrent training tasks and projects. Occasional travel for site visits, team outings, training, or company events is estimated at at least 25%.
