The Machine Operator, 3rd Shift works onsite in Verona, VA, and pays $26.50–$29.50 per hour, plus a $1.50-per-hour shift differential. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.; training is on first shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., for approximately two to four weeks. Wieland manufactures, processes, and distributes copper and copper alloys. The operator programs, sets up, and runs CNC equipment to produce parts according to drawings and instructions. The role maintains specifications through measurement and troubleshooting, performs operator maintenance, and keeps required records.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, and other instructions
• work with ferrous, non-ferrous, and alloy materials
• program equipment and set tool registers and offsets
• install and adjust tools and attachments
• measure parts and troubleshoot or adjust controls
• perform operator maintenance and report malfunctions
• maintain written or electronic records.
