Process Technician

Job overview

The Process Technician works onsite in Centralia, IL. Expected compensation is $25 per hour plus 5% bonus eligibility. Hawkins formulates, manufactures, blends, distributes, and sells industrial and laboratory chemicals to municipalities and businesses. The role operates and maintains production equipment while meeting production, quality, and safety standards. It supports reliable chemical processing by monitoring batch and continuous operations, recording process information, performing routine minor maintenance, and following operating and environmental, health, and safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment
• handle, store, transfer, and transport chemical materials
• control continuous and batch processes in accordance with SOPs
• record operating data and complete required paperwork
• communicate safety, compliance, and equipment needs
• perform routine minor maintenance on equipment and instrumentation
• follow product quality, safety, environmental, health, and safety standards
• maintain housekeeping standards.
