What you'll do

• Install, remove, and repair insulation on steam piping, turbines, pumps, and other shipboard equipment
• apply molded pipe sections, tempmat, calcium silicate, block insulation, and finishing cement
• measure, cut, and fit materials, including precision miter cuts
• apply fiberglass cloth and adhesives
• follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
