The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician role is onsite in Woodbridge, VA, with compensation of $27–$68 per hour. Veterinary Emergency Group’s mission is to help people and their pets when they need emergency care most. The technician supports emergency veterinary care from triage through discharge, working with doctors and the team on treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing. The role also provides emotional support to pet parents and helps keep care moving during urgent cases.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support
• assist with triage, diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement
• administer medications and monitoring, including IVs and CRIs
• support blood transfusions, anesthesia, and advanced procedures
• perform CPR as trained
• collaborate with doctors and the care team.

Why this role
