The Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver Trainer role is onsite in Glendale, AZ, and pays $20–$25 per hour. The trainer supports Ancora Education’s contracted CDL training program and its scheduled cohorts. The trainer teaches classroom and practical driving skills, evaluates student progress, and maintains a safe, positive learning environment. The role helps students develop the skills needed to pass assessments and obtain a CDL, while maintaining accurate records and supporting program requirements.

What you'll do

• Teach trucking and driving skills in classroom, over-the-road, and maneuvering-range settings
• administer written tests and evaluate grades
• instruct vehicle inspections, air-brake tests, backing, alley docking, and parallel parking
• assess student progress
• maintain student records and attendance
• uphold safety, program policies, and applicable regulations.
