The Drafting/CAD Engineer III role is onsite in Concord, NC, supporting a client described as a business manufacturing and supply company. Pay is $48.24–$53.24 per hour. The role supports building and site layouts, manufacturing equipment layouts, facility upgrades, and equipment service projects. The role produces and revises technical drawings and documentation that help manufacturing and facilities teams plan equipment placement, utility connections, installations, and plant changes. Accurate, constructible layouts support safe operations and project requirements.

What you'll do

• Create floor plans showing equipment locations, clearances, access, safety zones, aisles, egress, and material flow
• coordinate equipment placement with facility services
• prepare installation and relocation drawings
• support capacity expansion, workflow improvements, equipment moves, and plant-layout changes
• incorporate vendor drawings and field-verification data into layouts and as-built documentation
• review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project goals.
