The Young Child Music Instructor is an onsite, part-time role in Boston, MA, paying $26–$38 per hour. What you'll do

• Lead classes for children ages 2–6 in groups of 3–5
• create and follow the comprehensive curriculum and in-house programs after training
• follow lesson plans and use resources and creativity for occasional games and crafts
• communicate with parents about student progress
• work with school personnel to support the program. Classes are scheduled 2–3 weekdays, Monday–Friday, 3–6:30, plus Saturdays 9–3
• Sunday 2–6 may also be available in September. May work off-site to deliver early childhood programs.

Why this role

At least one year of paid early-childhood teaching experience; ability to play basic piano or guitar and comfort singing simple songs. Music degree not required; musical theater background and additional listed language fluency are pluses.
