What you'll do

• Round through the Emergency Department triage area, waiting rooms, and patient rooms
• oversee patient flow and the tracking board
• coordinate patient placement and movement into and out of the department
• liaise with Bed Management, providers, nursing, ancillary staff, case management, environmental services, EMS, patients, and families
• provide throughput feedback and participate in huddles, debriefings, reports, and performance improvement
• support policy, safety, quality, and emergency preparedness activities.
