The Behavioral Health Practitioner — Youth Crisis Center, 2nd Shift role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN. The schedule is 2:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m., Sunday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday, and pay is $22–$24 per hour. The role supports Nexus Family Healing’s 13-bed youth crisis and stabilization center serving Hennepin County youth. The practitioner reinforces therapeutic plans through daily guidance, supervision, and participation in treatment services. The work helps provide appropriate short-term care and therapeutic support while triage, assessment, and transition planning take place with youth and families.

What you'll do

• Support and reinforce clients’ therapeutic plans through guidance in daily living activities
• mentor and supervise resident activities and behavior under established guidelines
• work with coworkers to implement treatment plans and therapeutic services
• adapt interactions to client phases, privileges, and restrictions
• collaborate to maintain a safe, respectful, clean, and therapeutic environment
• engage families and support networks
• participate in off-campus activities and assist with transportation to home visits, appointments, and recreation.
