What you'll do

• Provide acute dialysis care and treatment in a hospital environment
• administer medications as ordered
• educate patients and provide follow-up as needed
• complete pre- and post-treatment assessments and handoff communication
• verify water quality and equipment safety
• initiate and terminate treatments
• set up, clean, disinfect, and maintain dialysis machines
• document care
• communicate patient-care concerns
• collaborate with hospital healthcare professionals
• assist with staff training as requested.
