What you'll do

• Rewind, repair, and rebuild AC/DC electric motors, stators, armatures, and field coils
• strip motors, record winding data, and manufacture or install copper windings
• read winding diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
• perform insulation, brazing or soldering, testing, and final assembly
• use electrical testing equipment to verify motor integrity.
