The Mental Health Support Specialist role provides in-home and community-based support to adult clients in and around Rockland, ME. Pay is up to $27 per hour. MAS Community Health provides individualized community-based support to clients and families and has partnered with SPARC to expand its reach. The specialist provides one-on-one support and supervision to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness, following each person’s individualized plan. The work helps clients build independence through housing support, transportation, coping strategies, and daily living skills.

What you'll do

• Help clients work toward stable housing
• assist with appointments and provide safe transportation
• teach coping strategies
• support daily living skills such as budgeting and checkbook management
• encourage clients as they work toward their goals
• complete electronic documentation.
