What you'll do

• Post room charges, taxes, and other charges to guest accounts
• process charge and credit-card vouchers
• transfer charges and deposits to master accounts
• verify transactions, postings, balances, and room rates
• prepare and file next-day reservations
• monitor promotions
• perform front-desk check-in and check-out procedures
• summarize cash, check, and credit-card activity and operating results
• complete the end-of-day process and checklist
• make wake-up calls
• respond to guest needs and complaints and alert a manager as needed.
