The Lead Toddler Teacher is an onsite, full-time position in Englewood, CO, with no nights or weekends. Pay is $19.50–$23 per hour. The Goddard School of Littleton (South Broadway) provides an early learning environment using its Wonder of Learning curriculum. The teacher leads age-appropriate instruction and daily activities while maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom. Observing children’s development, communicating with families, and collaborating with assistant and resource teachers support children’s learning and social-emotional growth.

What you'll do

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum
• maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom
• communicate with families and guardians about children’s progress and daily activities
• supervise indoor and outdoor activities and uphold health, safety, and licensing standards
• participate in professional development
• observe, assess, and document learning and development
• support assistant and resource teachers
• use positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution.

Why this role

High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and CDA are preferred. State-required pre-service training must be completed. One to two years of childcare or preschool experience is preferred.
