The Senior Counsel, Government Contracts role is onsite in Louisville, CO, with a salary range of $180,000–$240,000 per year. Infleqtion develops quantum computers, sensors, and networks for commercial, industrial, and national security applications; this role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and partners with business and technical teams. The counsel leads and advises on federal government contracting, including research and development agreements, subcontracts, and related compliance matters. The role helps teams assess legal and business risks, negotiate agreements, and build practical processes and training that support disciplined growth and program execution.

What you'll do

• Lead negotiation, interpretation, and management of government agreements, including OTAs, federal R&D contracts, grants, subcontracts, and teaming agreements
• advise on FAR, DFARS, and agency requirements
• assess risks involving intellectual property, data rights, pricing, audits, cybersecurity, export controls, sourcing, labor, and payment
• coordinate contracting issues and customer communications
• partner with business development, program management, engineering, and finance
• develop templates, playbooks, and training
• support governance and cross-functional legal matters.
