CDL B Driver - Local, onsite, Manatee County, FL. Pay Rate: $22 per hour. PODS is a leading provider of moving and storage solutions. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive rapport.

What you'll do

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers
• Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections
• Accept add-on deliveries as required
• Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation
• Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane
• Clean and inspect containers
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with the customer
• Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager
• Prepare driver notes as needed
• Perform repairs of containers and lifts
• Provide backup for storage center functions
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; Minimum of 3 months of experience as a CDL driver; Valid CDL A or B; At least 21 years of age.
