Veterinary Assistant

The Veterinary Assistant role is onsite in Baytown, TX; compensation is $14–$17 per hour. What you'll do

• Restrain patients for exams and procedures
• prepare exam rooms
• obtain weights and basic vital signs
• assist with history collection and intake
• prepare diagnostic samples
• assist with radiographs and non-sterile procedures
• monitor hospitalized patients and report concerns
• clean treatment and exam areas
• perform basic services such as nail trims and anal gland expressions.
