Mohs Medical Assistant

The Mohs Medical Assistant role is onsite in Arlington Heights, IL. Pay is $19 per hour. What you'll do

• Room patients and verify information, medical history, and visit purpose
• collect and process specimens in compliance with CLIA regulations
• explain procedures, medications, aftercare, and provider instructions
• clean and sterilize instruments and assemble surgical trays using sterile technique
• document visits and charges
• make post-procedure follow-up calls
• assist providers with examinations and treatment, including injections, suture removal, or phlebotomy
• clean rooms and restock inventory.

Why this role

Primarily assigned to surgical shifts; general dermatology shifts may be offered if surgical shifts are unavailable. Travel to other surgical locations may be required when needed.
