What you'll do

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design-development, GMP, and final estimates
• perform quantity takeoffs and pricing
• review drawings, specifications, and project documents
• maintain cost databases and benchmarks
• lead preconstruction activities
• develop budgets, schedules, logistics plans, and procurement strategies
• coordinate subcontractor and supplier bids
• conduct bid leveling, scope reviews, value engineering, and constructability reviews
• evaluate risks
• support project teams with change-order pricing and budget updates
• mentor junior estimators.

Why this role

Requires 10+ years of commercial construction estimating and preconstruction experience; a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience; and experience estimating projects from $1 million to $20 million or more. Certifications and Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project experience are preferred.
