Box Machine Operator

Job overview

The Box Machine Operator role is onsite in Solon, OH. Compensation is $17–$21 per hour. The role supports Digital Room’s packing and shipping department at its plant. The operator makes product boxes using a box-on-demand machine, prepares shipping materials, and helps ensure packages are routed to the correct carriers. The work supports efficient packing and shipping through machine operation, troubleshooting, and coordination with the team.

What you'll do

• Make boxes for products
• measure and weigh products to select economical shipping boxes
• reload the machine with fanfold material
• troubleshoot machine jams
• verify shipping boxes on skids for the correct carrier
• load UPS trucks and move skids to the FedEx pickup area
• process leftover material through the PacMaster and place it in bins
• communicate with management or the team lead about assigned work.

Two listed schedules: Sunday–Thursday, 9:45 p.m.–6:15 a.m., or Monday–Friday, 5:45 a.m.–2:15 p.m.; requires at least one year of warehouse packing experience.
