What you'll do

• Lay out, construct, and repair plaster patterns, master models, mock-ups, checking fixtures, form blocks, and other plaster tooling
• supply missing details from blueprints or engineering information
• coordinate with engineers, loftsmen, and other personnel and recommend or incorporate changes
• determine pattern-making methods and templates
• determine sand-molding methods. The role may make templates, direct other employees, or perform related plastic tooling operations.
