Custom Picture Framer / Fitter

The Custom Picture Framer / Fitter role is onsite in Miami, FL. Pay is $20–$25 per hour. Skyframe’s Miami workshop provides custom framing, fine-art printing, and specialty fabrication for artists, galleries, collectors, designers, and commercial clients. The framer produces accurate, carefully finished framing work by preparing frames and materials, fitting and mounting artwork, and inspecting completed pieces. The role supports workshop production quality and deadlines while protecting artwork throughout the process.

What you'll do

• Measure, cut, join, and assemble custom wood and metal frames
• cut mats and prepare mounting and backing materials
• fit artwork with glass or acrylic, mats, spacers, backing, and hanging hardware
• mount artwork
• stretch canvases and assist with oversized and specialty projects
• inspect finished work and maintain an organized workspace. Professional custom framing or fitting experience is required.
