The Automotive Technician / Maryland State Inspector role is onsite in Greenbelt, MD. Pay is $36–$50 per hour, based on experience. Group 1 Honda Greenbelt is seeking a technician for its dealership team and describes a focus on vehicle safety, accurate diagnostics, and quality repairs and inspections. The technician inspects vehicles for regulatory compliance, identifies defects and needed repairs, tests components, and documents results. The role helps ensure vehicles meet Maryland inspection requirements and provides owners with reports for follow-up.

What you'll do

• Inspect vehicles for emissions and regulatory compliance
• inspect accessories, air lines, and electrical circuits and report needed repairs
• examine vehicles for damage and drive them to detect malfunctions
• test components for wear, damage, or improper adjustment
• apply inspection or rejection stickers as appropriate
• and prepare a report for each vehicle. A Maryland State Inspection license is required, and availability Monday through Saturday is required.
