What you'll do

• Verify customer and order information
• receive and respond to customer orders
• review orders for completeness and forward incomplete orders for further processing
• recommend merchandise or services to meet customer needs
• inspect outgoing work against customer specifications
• check inventory availability
• notify departments when supplies are low or orders may deplete stock
• file or record orders
• follow safe-work policies and maintain a clean work environment
• operate hand and power tools and material-handling equipment when needed.
