What you'll do

• Insert PICCs, midlines, extended-dwell catheters, and peripheral IV catheters at bedside
• establish access via intravascular ports
• examine, assess, and evaluate patients with vascular access devices
• educate patients and family members about procedures and answer questions
• educate staff when necessary
• document procedures according to client and company policies.
