Development Manager — Fundraising and Events

Job overview

The Development Manager role is hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA, with compensation of $65,000–$75,000 per year. The National Kidney Foundation works to improve lives affected by kidney disease through action, education, and accelerating change. The role develops and stewards corporate and individual relationships to grow fundraising revenue and support the foundation’s mission. It leads fundraising strategies and events, manages donor and partner portfolios, and works with volunteers and the development team toward market and regional financial goals.

What you'll do

• Plan, execute, budget, and evaluate assigned events, including the Pittsburgh Kidney Walk, NKF Golf Classic, and Kidney Gift of Life gala. Manage a Kidney Walk fundraising portfolio
• develop fundraising strategies and revenue projections
• steward corporate and individual relationships
• support donor partnerships, community volunteers, event websites, and data management
• provide financial analysis and customer service
• and ensure compliance with organizational policies and financial controls.
