What you'll do

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, educational, and other care needs
• teach patients and families
• administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, hydration, growth factors, and other medications under physician supervision
• assist with exams and procedures
• monitor and communicate test results and changes in patient status
• perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• conduct telephone triage
• document care
• support staff
• maintain safety and confidentiality
• provide satellite-office coverage as needed
• mentor less experienced staff as needed.
