Maintenance Mechanic — Night Shift

The Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Cortland, NY, on the N2 shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Compensation is $31–$37 per hour. Byrne is a Central New York dairy company with an ESL manufacturing facility in Cortlandville. The mechanic maintains production equipment and facility systems to support continuous dairy processing operations. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots equipment, and coordinates repairs with production teams to reduce downtime.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on dairy processing equipment
• diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• troubleshoot production lines, PLCs, motor controls, and automated systems
• install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and controls
• inspect steam, compressed air, refrigeration, and water treatment systems
• maintain work orders and equipment histories in CMMS
• coordinate repairs with production teams.
