Senior Operations and Compliance Manager

The Senior Operations and Compliance Manager is an onsite, full-time role in San Diego, CA, with an annual salary range of $95,000–$115,000. The role supports Veterans Village of San Diego’s administration and organization-wide programs. VVSD provides services to veterans, including people experiencing homelessness. This leader manages daily operations and compliance, connecting fiscal oversight, grant requirements, and operational planning so VVSD programs and services meet applicable requirements and maintain accountability. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and supervises compliance and support staff.

What you'll do

• Maintain agency-wide compliance with laws, regulations, and funder requirements
• oversee document systems and staff training
• audit client files and program data. Monitor program and financial compliance across grants, collaborate with Finance on budgets, approve program-site expenses, and ensure internal controls, procurement compliance, and accurate financial reporting. Lead feasibility assessments, operational updates, cross-functional reporting, grant applications and reporting, licensing and facility compliance, IT and inventory oversight, staff supervision, policy development, and executive reporting.
