Job overview

The Barista position is onsite in Dallas, TX, with pay of $16–$19 per hour. The role supports Angela’s coffee shop and the Jewish Community Center of Dallas Food Services team. The Barista prepares and serves beverages and light café items while providing a welcoming customer experience. The role also maintains clean, stocked service areas, follows food-safety requirements, and supports opening, closing, and inventory tasks.

What you'll do

• Prepare espresso drinks, brewed and iced coffee, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and portion standards
• welcome customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and process payments
• keep the coffee bar, counter, and customer areas clean and organized
• restock supplies
• follow food-safety, sanitation, and health department requirements
• complete opening and closing tasks
• monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs
• receive and organize deliveries
• assist with light food preparation and pastry displays
• collaborate with Food Services colleagues.
