Commercial Utility Broker

Job overview

The Commercial Utility Broker is a remote opportunity with a stated potential annual commission range of $50,000–$250,000+, based on sales results; it is a 1099 commission-only role with no base salary or guaranteed income. Navigate Power and Verde Solutions support commercial and industrial energy procurement and energy-efficiency projects. The broker develops and manages a client pipeline, helping businesses compare electricity and natural gas offers and make contract decisions. By identifying potential savings and introducing additional energy projects when appropriate, the role can build client relationships through renewals, referrals, and further work.

What you'll do

• Generate and manage a sales pipeline through outreach, referrals, networks, partnerships, and existing relationships
• engage business decision-makers
• review utility bills, usage, contracts, and facility needs
• present electricity and natural gas proposals
• introduce additional energy solutions when client priorities and economics support them
• lead sales through signed agreements and coordinate implementation handoffs
• maintain pipeline records and follow up on renewals and opportunities.
