What you'll do

• Perform automotive-type spray painting and powder coating
• prepare parts and surfaces
• prepare work areas and equipment
• mask parts
• apply primer and paint systems according to specifications
• use and adjust HVLP spray guns
• perform touch-ups and color matching
• inspect painted and coated parts and correct defects
• stage parts
• maintain spray and powder-coating equipment, booths, racks, and work areas
• follow hazardous-material handling and safety procedures
• coordinate work with production requirements.
