What you'll do

• Assess patient needs and assist the medical provider during patient visits. Identify, correct, or report health and safety hazards
• assist with medication calls for family practice patients
• maintain prior authorizations and referrals
• and assist with EKG and PFT testing in the office. Other duties may be assigned.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, certification as a Medical Assistant in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, or South Carolina, and at least one year of medical experience. CPR is preferred.
