What you'll do

• Follow up on Medicare, Medicaid, managed-care, private-pay, and other accounts
• review aging reports and prioritize collections
• research denied, delayed, or underpaid claims
• complete billing, payment posting, adjustments, and reconciliations
• monitor eligibility, authorizations, patient liability, and managed-care requirements
• document collection activity
• prepare leadership reports
• assist with billing transitions and support facility business-office staff.
