What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, waterjet cutting equipment, manual mills, engine lathes, drill presses, radial arm drills, and vertical turning lathes
• read blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions
• manufacture tooling, fixtures, components, machine parts, and production equipment
• machine metal, plastic, composite, and engineered materials
• repair, modify, and rebuild machinery components and manufacturing equipment
• perform machining operations and first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
• use precision measuring equipment
• support maintenance, fabrication, and continuous improvement projects
• maintain safe work practices and housekeeping. High school diploma or GED and experience operating CNC and conventional machine tools are required
• three or more years of machining experience is preferred.
