Activities Assistant

Activities Assistant is a part-time, onsite role in Beverly, MA. The schedule is 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, every other weekend, and pay is $17 per hour. Blueberry Hill Rehab is a 132-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility focused on resident-centered care. The assistant helps plan and deliver activities that support residents’ social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being. The role encourages participation based on residents’ interests and abilities, documents engagement, and works with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care goals.

What you'll do

• Create a welcoming and engaging environment
• document resident participation
• assist with planning and implementing recreational, social, educational, and community programs
• build relationships and encourage participation
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• observe and report changes
• assist with outreach events, activity setup and cleanup, and safely escorting residents.
