Construction Estimator, Structural Steel and Metal Fabrication

What you'll do

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• perform material takeoffs and labor estimates
• solicit and evaluate vendor, subcontractor, and supplier quotations
• prepare cost estimates, bid summaries, and proposals
• maintain estimating records
• coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and purchasing
• identify risks, clarifications, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities
• and maintain customer and vendor relationships during bidding.
