What you'll do

• Represent clients in general liability and insurance defense matters, including premises liability and construction accidents, in court, arbitrations, and depositions. Manage cases through pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, and trial preparation
• supervise associates and staff
• develop defense strategies with partners, clients, and experts
• conduct legal research and draft briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and appellate briefs
• retain and collaborate with expert witnesses
• manage deadlines and assignments
• meet the annual 1,950 billable-hour requirement.
