CNC Machinist — Second Shift

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Azle, TX, with pay of $24–$30 per hour. The machinist fabricates parts using computer numerical control machines. The role sets up and operates turning and machining centers, checks finished work, and communicates about production runs. It contributes to production quality by meeting close tolerances, documenting inspections, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

What you'll do

• Set up turning and machining centers for production runs
• indicate vises and load tooling
• operate machines and identify malfunctions
• understand speeds and feeds for different materials
• hold tolerances within ±.001
• read blueprints
• read and edit G-code and adjust tool offsets
• inspect and document work, including First Article Reports
• follow safety procedures.
