This role exists to provide safe and effective nursing care in the operating room until the patient is transferred to recovery, contributing to efficient surgical procedures.

What you'll do

• Oversee instrument and equipment set-up for OR
• Coordinate and oversee room during a case as circulator
• Facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures
• Utilize appropriate body mechanics in moving patients
• Manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia
• Review charts for completeness prior to and after surgical procedure.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
