Shuttle Driver

The Shuttle Driver role is an onsite position based in Pensacola, FL, offering a salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This role supports the Performance Foodservice distribution team by ensuring the efficient transport of trailers to and from warehouse and shuttle yard locations. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the flow of goods within the supply chain by safely operating tractor-trailers on assigned routes. The driver is responsible for adhering to all Department of Transportation regulations, performing equipment inspections, and ensuring that all freight is properly secured for transit.

What you'll do

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of tractor and trailer
• follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• transport empty and full trailers between warehouse and shuttle yard locations
• maintain accurate logs of hours of service
• secure freight and manage necessary route paperwork
• perform general housekeeping in the tractor and loading dock areas.
