Substitute Teacher Assistant

The Substitute Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Valrico, FL, on an as-needed basis during staff absences, vacations, or periods of high client census. Pay is $17.50 per hour. Easterseals Florida’s School for Limitless Learning uses a play-based, inclusive approach for children who are neurodiverse or have related disabilities. The assistant helps maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment while supporting classroom activities and individual student needs. Working with the lead educator, the role helps sustain classroom continuity and communication with families when regular staff are unavailable.

Why this role

As-needed position with hours scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Requires a National Early Childhood Credential, Florida DCF 45-hour child care training, and current CPR and First Aid certification.
