Recovery Coach – PPW

The Recovery Coach – PPW role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with compensation of $21.63–$27.84 per hour. The position supports adult women who use substances through Haymarket Center’s PPW services. The coach helps clients build recovery resources and individualized plans, supporting treatment engagement, self-efficacy, abstinence, reduced HIV risk behaviors, and continued recovery after treatment. The work includes connecting clients with support and care, monitoring progress, and maintaining detailed recovery documentation.

What you'll do

• Engage PPW clients using motivational interviewing and enhancement techniques
• develop comprehensive, client-centered Recovery Plans
• implement Contingency Management according to project protocols
• connect clients with recovery support, HIV case management and care as needed, and a primary healthcare physician for continued Medication Assisted Therapy
• facilitate Medication Assisted Therapy Alumni groups
• meet with clients at least weekly
• support access to other services and family involvement in recovery planning
• monitor progress and update recovery portfolios
• document activities and enter data in NextGen/Service logs and SAIs
• follow the Recovery Coach curriculum.
