Operations Intern, Summer 2027

The Operations Intern role is onsite in Minong, WI, paying $23–$25 per hour for a bachelor’s degree candidate and $30 per hour for a master’s degree candidate. Link Snacks makes protein snacks across brands including Jack Link’s, Lorissa’s Kitchen, Golden Island, BiFi, Peperami, and KOOEE!. The internship provides hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and engineering while supporting projects tied to strategic business goals. The intern contributes to process improvement, equipment reliability, production problem-solving, data collection, and project engineering, working with plant and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Assist with process and product improvement projects
• work with department management on management processes
• maintain and communicate data for problem identification, resolution, and loss reporting
• collect and provide productivity, cost, and capacity analytics
• assist with process documentation and assembly-flow optimization
• report plant metrics and trends
• support engineering opportunities to reduce costs and improve product consistency and quality
• follow Lean Manufacturing Processes
• develop a final presentation on project work and experience.
