What you'll do

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, tolerances, and specifications
• plan machining sequences
• set up and operate manual milling machines and lathes
• select cutting tools, workholding methods, speeds, and feeds
• measure and inspect parts with precision instruments
• maintain and replace cutting tools
• perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments
• troubleshoot machining and quality issues
• complete quality documentation and ERP production records
• support lean manufacturing and process improvements
• follow safety rules and maintain an organized work area.
