What you'll do

• Oversee the work product of a claims unit
• complete performance reviews
• provide monetary approvals within assigned authority
• maintain selected complex or high-priority files
• provide client information and reports as required
• coach and counsel personnel
• ensure claims comply with statutes and company rules
• address personnel issues and keep the Claims Manager informed
• identify a supervisor backup
• audit 10% of each specialist’s open inventory quarterly
• promote teamwork
• apply knowledge of California workers’ compensation Labor Code requirements.
