The position is at a 523-bed acute care hospital with Joint Commission accreditation and specialty center designations. The schedule is nights with rotating weekends. The nurse provides direct care to post-surgical and acute-care patients in a medical-surgical unit with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Assessment, individualized care planning, monitoring, and interdisciplinary coordination support safe outcomes throughout each patient’s stay.

What you'll do

• Assess, plan, and deliver individualized care for post-surgical and acute-care patients
• monitor responses to treatment
• coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team
• apply evidence-based practice across the unit’s cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedic, neuroscience, minimally invasive, bariatric, and women’s health services.
